Charles earned his degree from Otterbein College, known as one of the top private colleges in the country. He also has earned the distinction of being a Registered Investment Advisor, Residential Loan Consultant, and Reverse Mortgage Specialist as well as the immediate past President of the Ventura County Association of Health Underwriter's.

Charles and his wife Andrea have three sons and live in Simi Valley.
